Status: Puki.exe isn't code-signed for Windows yet, so Windows may warn the first time it runs ("Windows protected your PC": "More info", then "Run anyway"). The app and the brain's updates are signed, as described here.

האפליקציה לאנדרואיד נחתמת במפתח של פוקי עצמו, ועדכון של האפליקציה מותקן רק אם הוא חתום באותו מפתח.
The Android app is signed with Puki's own key, and an update to the app installs only if it's signed with that same key.
עדכוני המוח במחשב (install.py --update) נחתמים במפתח העדכונים של פוקי, והחתימה והגרסה נבדקות לפני שמשהו מותקן.
The PC brain's updates (install.py --update) are signed with Puki's update key, and the signature and version are checked before anything is installed.

Puki.exe, Puki's brain for Windows PCs, is built from the source in TomSadeh/puki, and GitHub Actions builds it from the release's tag too (the build workflow), so anyone can check it comes from this code. Its SHA-256 is listed with each release on GitHub Releases.

In practice: setup downloads the models and tools (every file checked against a SHA-256 fixed in advance) from GitHub and Hugging Face; an update checks GitHub Releases only when asked to; and the brain talks only to the family's tablet on the home network. The details are in the privacy policy.
